Fireboy DML Set to Release New Album titled “Apollo”

Fireboy this afternoon announced the release date for his sophomore album, Apollo. The album comes a few months after the release of his largely successful debut album, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps.There had been speculation about a new Fireboy album as early as this month. We made a report on it. But the news wasn’t confirmed by Fireboy or his label honcho, Olamide.

YBNL artiste, Fireboy DML has announced the release date for his sophomore album, Apollo, after the success of his debut album, Laughter, Tears & Goosebumps. The album announcement was made on the 9th of August 2020, where the singer stated that the body of work will be released on the 20th of August, 2020.

With a brief message accompanied by the announcement, Fireboy DML said; “The debut was a dream, I showed you guys ‘Damola, You saw perfection – So how human am I to think myself a god?… my sophomore album, Apollo. out on the 20th of August.” This album is coming after the release of his latest single, Eli and his collaboration with Reminisce in Ogaranya.

All seems to be true now as Fireboy announced via his Twitter account with a short text video revealing the title and release date.He made the announcement via his Twitter page on August 9 with the words, “Apollo. 20th of August.” The album will be a follow-up to his debut project, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps. His fans have taken to his page to make known their excitement at the forthcoming project.
